Though currently going through a divorce to estranged wife Heather Mills, Sir Paul took time out recently to reminisce over a previous partnership which resulted in one of the most famous creative ‘divorces’ in music history. Sir Paul’s song-writing partnership with the late John Lennon is described by him as being “one hell of a collaboration” with the result that he was “…a little bit spoiled after that.” In an interview with the BBC, Sir Paul commented on subsequent collaborations with other stars such as Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. "I've done it quite a bit since and, I think -- and I hate to say it -- there's inevitably a sense of disappointment because it was just so cool for John and me to be working together, because we started so young and knew each other's ways and minds." People who play online bingo may know that the Beatles split as a group in 1970 with Sir Paul going on to work with a number of artists while also forming the band Wings with late wife Linda. At the time of the split, the Lennon/McCartney song-writing team was the most famous and successful of the day, but ended under a cloud. Ten years after the Beatles split John Lennon was tragically gunned down in New York by a deranged fan. The Beatles consistently remain a favourite music choice of online bingo players.
