It couldn’t be worse for Chanel 4, the station responsible for Big Brother. Just when they were getting over the last race row controversy, silly contestant Emily Parr has made herself famous for all the wrong reasons. Housemate Emily Parr got her marching orders after calling fellow housemate Charley a n*****. Emily, Charley and Nicky were dancing in the living room when Emily said, "Are you pushing it out, you n*****?" Charley and Nicky pulled her up, but said they weren’t offended. Online bingo players will not be surprised to find that others were. Last season’s show caused over 44,500 viewer complaints when Jade Goody referred to housemate Shilpa Shetty as ‘Shilpa Poppadom’. Media authorities ruled Channel 4 was guilty of "serious editorial misjudgment" and ordered the broadcaster to screen apologies.
