Well, it seems you couldn’t do anything last weekend without been confronted by the wailing face of Paris Hilton after a California judge ordered her back to jail to complete the full 45 day sentence she received for violating her driving license suspension. It’s sure to be the hot topic in most online bingo chat rooms, but the level of coverage this received in the mainstream media must have been a shock to many. After all, this is not the OJ Simpson case, and with some networks devoting over 15 minutes per hour to the story, it did seem like a bit of over kill. Paris Hilton was sensationally freed after only a couple of days of her sentence to carry out the remainder of her sentence under house arrest. A ‘medical’ condition was said to be the reason and some speculated it was a case of acute depression that convinced LA officials to let her out. But, since when has been happy about the prospect of spending time in jail been contingent to going to jail? The Judge who sentenced Ms Hilton didn’t think so and promptly ordered her back inside. My bet is a lot of free online bingo players probably agree with him. Now Ms Hilton languishes in the jail’s medical facility, a devastating case of feeling sorry for herself afflicting her.
