Murphy to find out if DNA makes him a dad

Delinquent dads are never a good thing and it seems as if Eddie Murphy is facing up to this fact in the stand-off over the paternity row he is having with former Spice Girl Melanie Brown.

UK online bingo players tend to know Ms Brown as Scary Spice and will probably remember she recently gave birth to a daughter who she claims was fathered by former lover Eddie Murphy, though the Hollywood funny man has to date denied it.

But they may be about to change with the results of a blood test on the infant which will be used to determine DNA links with Murphy. He is now saying he will stand by Ms Brown if the tests prove he is the father.

People who play online bingo may remember how Brown was reportedly "devastated" when Murphy publicly terminated their affair on Dutch TV saying, "I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a test."
