Paris Hilton gal-pal and co-star in the reality TV series ‘The Simple Life’, Niicole Richie, is facing a similar problem to her mega-rich friend in that she faces going to jail for driving under the influence. Okay, so some online bingo players will point out that Paris Hilton was actually sent to jail for violating a suspended license, but that license was originally suspended for a drink-driving offence. Nicole Richie, on the other hand, drove her car the wrong way on a busy Los Angeles freeway while allegedly under the influence of controlled substances. Richie is the 25-year-old daughter of singer Lionel Richie and faces a 90 days in jail because she has a prior conviction for driving under the influence. It’s expected that Richie’s trial will generate similar media interest to that shown in the Paris Hilton case. For us online bingo players, it’s just another story of a poor-little rich girl that should make the gossip in our favourite online bingo halls all the more juicy.
