Supermodel toy-boy Pete Doherty and alleged singer of Brit-pop band Babyshambles has pleaded guilty to possessing crack cocaine and other drugs and to two driving offences after turning up over two hours late to a London court. The sometime boyfriend of model Kate Moss arrived just moments after the judge issued a warrant for his arrest. Walking through a barrage of photographers and journalists wearing his trade mark trilby hat, black suit and open-necked black shirt, Doherty was briefly interviewed by police before facing the judge. Doherty did not blame his tardiness on playing bingo online but he was able to eventually give his address to the judge. He then pleaded guilty to six offences related to charges brought against him after he was stopped in a car in central London last May 5. Online bingo players may recall from last December that Doherty was fined and banned from driving for possessing crack cocaine and heroin. Subsequently, the singer’s sad state has seen him seek treatment in a number of countries including Britain, France and Thailand. He is currently working on a new album that his lawyer says is proving very stressful. Written by John Witherspoon - Play bingo online at http://bingostreet.com and read bingo news.
