It seems there is a limit on how young you can be when it comes to being a star and Simon Cowell, talent-show tough-guy, has ruthlessly said that six-year-old Connie Talbot is too young to sign to his Sony BMG record label. Online bingo chat rooms are abuzz with talk about Cowell picking on the six-year-old who had shone on "Britain's Got Talent" with her rendition of “Somewhere over the Rainbow”, a favourite of many old-time bingo online players. Even Cowell had described her at the time as "pure magic." However, young Connie got no fairytale ending when Sony BMG decided against signing the kid due to her being too young. "There was some deliberation over the possibility of recording with Connie," a statement by Sony BMG concluded. "However the decision not to proceed was made with the best intentions for Connie, taking into consideration her age and that it would not be right to do so at this time." Poor young Connie. I guess she’ll just have to grow up! Written by John Witherspoon - Play bingo online at http://bingostreet.com/ and read bingo news.
