Britney Spears to be investigated for child abuse

Things are obviously about to get very nasty in the custody battle involving the children of Britney Spears and her ex Kevin Federline. It would appear Spears is going to be investigated for child abuse.

Online bingo players may be aware that the troubled mother of two has had her parenting skills questioned over a number of incidents and some reports from her own staff.

The allegations will be tested in a September 4 hearing to decide the custody of the two children, 23-month-old Sean and Jayden James, 11 months.

Spears has already been visited by child welfare officials in April last year after reports she had been driving with Sean sitting on her lap. No charges were made, however.
