French football star and former Arsenal icon Thierry Henry has officially divorced his wife Claire Merry at the High Court in London and now possibly faces the largest divorce payment ever by a footballer. The current Barcelona star is expected to have to hand over a large chunk of his wealth to Merry whom he married four years ago after meeting her on the set of a TV commercial. Henry is estimated to have a fortune of around 25 million pounds. The estranged couple have a young daughter called Tea. Henry had announced his split from Merry last June just before his move to Barcelona, though he claims the transfer was purely for football reasons. In a statement last July Henry’s attorney’s said: "Thierry is extremely saddened by the breakdown of his marriage. "He is anxious to move on with his life and maintain the best possible relationship he can with Claire for the benefit of their daughter Tea, whom he loves very much.” Neither Henry or his estranged wife are know to indulge in online bingo nor do they have any affiliations with any known UK online bingo hall.
