Oh dear, fellow online bingo friends, it seems yesterday’s take on the letter sent to Amy Winehouse by her mum might need another perspective if the reaction to the letter by Amy’s dad is anything to go by. The troubled UK singer’s dad is reportedly furious at Janis Winehouse, his ex-wife, for suggesting in the letter that Amy has been abandoned by her family in her time of need. Janis Winehouse recently wrote an open letter in which she appeared to be begging her daughter to come home in order to help her get over her much publicized problems. However, Mitch Winehouse, Amy’s dad, is insistent that he has been by his daughter’s side all through her recent battles with drugs and rehabilitation. Mitch - who divorced Janis when Amy was nine – says Amy has been coming to him for support during her battles against drug addiction while husband Blake Fielder-Civil remains in a London jail. Says the angry Mitch, "It is absolute rubbish to suggest that no one has been in touch with Amy. I've seen her five times myself last week. We're getting sick of the sight of each other, we are seeing each other that much. "Amy is monitored all the time. She is with trusted people who care for her and look out for her. We are all encouraging and helping Amy at the minute and that is what is most important."
