Land bingo operator Carlton Clubs are reported to have sold two of its bingo halls in Edinburgh and Grangemouth. The reported price is £1.35 million for both. The Destiny Church bought the Tivoli Bingo Hall on Gorgie Road, Edinburgh, for £900,000, while Cabri (Three) bought the bingo hall in Station Road, Grangemouth, for £450,000. Surveyor Simon Bashford said: "The Edinburgh deal reflects the fact that modern day automated bingo now require more contemporary premises." Online bingo is unaffected by the current UK-wide smoking ban and double tax regime. Written by John Witherspoon – Need the best online bingo games?
