Aldgate Capital, a UK-based company engaged in acquiring and managing companies in the gaming sector in the United Kingdom and Europe is on the acquisition trail according to a report at Clarion Gaming.
UK media market analysts are suggesting company could spend up to £150 million over the next six months in its hunt for bingo, online bingo and sports betting opportunities. Online bingo games operations have seen a 19% rise in player traffic in the UK since September 2006 according to data released by BingoPort.com while land-based bingo operations have foundered in the face of a UK-wide smoking ban and double taxation regime.
