Two entrepreneurs from Denver, Colorado, yesterday launched a non-profit online bingo website - www.obama-bingo.com - with the aim of harnessing the nation's interest in politics and bingo, the proceeds going to charity. Obama Bingo is definitely bingo, but with an extra political twist that makes it unique. Bingo cards cost $10 each and have 25 squares but no numbers. Each square holds a single word taken from previous speeches of the democratic Presidential runner, Barack Obama. Later today (Aug 28) at a convention, Obama's speech will be captured and synchronised with the special online bingo website, and the first player to daub 5 squares in a row wins, with 100% of the net proceeds going to the winner's charity of choice. The developer of the bingo game, Jaxon Repp, said, "It's our hope that Obama supporters will participate in the game and do some good in the world at the same time."
